On April 16, 2026, an international online conference aimed at developing cooperation in the procurement of household appliances and electrical products between companies of the two countries was held simultaneously on two platforms — in Ningbo (China) and Almaty (Kazakhstan).
The conference was organized with the participation of representatives of companies from Ningbo (China), as well as the Kazakhstani side represented by World Silk Way.
The coordination of the event was ensured by representatives of both countries, including Xie Ceng, Zhu Dongjie, Huang Kaisheng, Azat Assembay and Assiya Abil.
As part of the business program, participants discussed key trends in the development of the household appliances market in Central Asia, the specifics of procurement activities in Kazakhstan, as well as the current needs of local distributors and trading companies.
Special attention was paid to practical tools for Chinese manufacturers to enter the regional market, including participation in specialized exhibitions and the development of partnership channels.
The main part of the event consisted of B2B meetings between Kazakhstani buyers and Chinese suppliers. Companies such as Device Profi, Klimatrade, ZERRO KZ, Akniyet 2014 LLP, NEW ENERGY DRINKS KZ and CLUB100 took part in the negotiations.
During the meetings, supplies of a wide range of products were discussed, including low-voltage and industrial electrical equipment, automation and control systems, climate equipment and ventilation systems, large and small household appliances, smart devices and home goods.
Separate negotiations were also held with Chinese manufacturers, who presented solutions in the field of electrical equipment and household appliances.
The conference became an effective platform for establishing direct business contacts, discussing cooperation terms and forming new partnerships.
Following the event, both sides expressed their interest in further developing interaction and expanding trade and economic cooperation between China and Kazakhstan.
