On April 24, 2025, representatives of World Silk Way — Director Elmira Markabaeva and Regional Development Manager for Turkey, Azerbaijan, and the Middle East Yasemin Tasci — visited the Consulate of the Republic of Turkey in Almaty.
From the Consulate, Deputy Consul General Mr. Emre Karabatak and Commercial Attaché Mr. Ekrem Alper Bozkurt took part in the meeting.
During the talks, the parties discussed the participation of Turkish companies in the international electronics and home appliances exhibition HomeTech & Electra 2025, which will take place on August 7–9, 2025, in Almaty.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on comprehensive support from the Turkish Consulate, including assistance with subsidies for Turkish companies’ participation.
Special attention was given to creating favorable conditions for expanding the presence of Turkish brands in the Kazakhstani and Central Asian markets.
World Silk Way expresses its sincere gratitude to the Consulate of the Republic of Turkey for its trust, active support, and commitment to further cooperation.
Collaboration with Turkish governmental institutions will play a key role in the successful preparation and execution of HomeTech & Electra 2025.
